Scheduled post.

Spring has come.  Many projects are being worked on.  To keep me in fabric…I am taking on hand work again.  Very reasonable rates for hand bindings.  Also can square up quilt and machine attach binding before hand work if desired.

contact me at email listed on the “about me” page.

We are celebrating the time change by starting our spring cleaning!  Today, the master bedroom.  Purge clothes, flip mattress, change bedspread, vacuum behind everything we can reach, clean windows.  Phew, I’m already tired.

I am so excited that I purchased Amanda Jeans’ (CrazyMomQuilts) pattern for bags in multiple sizes.

I have been collecting lots of bag patterns, well, a few anyway, but I haven’t gotten any of them made yet.  The idea of a bag you can carry quilts in, is wonderful to me.  It gives me something to carry my tops and works in progress around to the store or to the upcoming retreat.

Now I have to pick fabrics, because as a newer quilter, my stash supply is horrendously below the average that I see.  I have many patriotic prints and some Christmas ones too.  That’s about the extent of it  I cant decide if I want to make a patriotic bag first or pick up some 30s prints and try that.

What do you think?

I cant seem to grasp that todays 70F is going to be Sundays 30F with white, fluffy stuff falling.  i dont believe it is already the 18th of November and this time next week, i will be packing a leftover sandwich for work.  Fall is flying by at an alarming rate, and i am feeling like one of those last minute frantic shoppers already.
